GoWear Fit Arm Band.
This arm band is a new hit in
health clubs around the country, and I hear it's been used
on The Biggest Loser. This arm band was
instrumental to me in proving to doctors that I wasn't just
under-exercising or over-eating. Using it requires a
subscription to the GoWearFit.com online service, for about
$6 per month (although you get a 3-months free coupon with purchase). Totally worth it.
I have loved this product. |

Metabolic Synergy, made by Designs for Health. I
was first turned on to this company by a naturopath, who
introduced me to the Adrenotone formula. Three months
on that and I didn't need coffee. Their Metabolic
Synergy formula is quite good, and (like all of their
products) free of most
allergens like gluten, soy, and dairy. |

Kombucha. My favorite is GT Dave's Original
Flavor. Here's a link to their site, where you can
look up places to buy GT
Dave's kombucha locally. But if you're relegated
to online purchases, check out the offerings on Amazon.com
Kombucha is loaded with probiotics, and claims to help
manage metabolism, immune system, appetite control, body
alkalinity, cell integrity, and more. I can't say one
way or another, but I sure do feel good when I drink it.
Think of the flavor as being like ginger ale, if you're
going for the Original Flavor. Costs about $3.50 per
bottle. Totally worth it. |

Amazing Grass Green Superfood Powder
is a bunch of powdered greenery, and this
brand actually tastes pretty good. You can buy it at
Whole Foods and other places, and it's also available through Amazon. I feel better able to metabolize
sugars and generally more vibrant when I use this product.
You can also buy single packs, which are handy for taking to
the office. Sometimes I add some powdered spirulina as
well. An easy complement to breakfast. One similar
product is Supreme Greens, and with this product, there's
the benefit of taking in capsule form. I actually
prefer the drink. |
